The evidence of faith will be very apparent; it cannot be hidden. Faith will inevitably express itself outwardly in what a person says and does, especially in how we treat and behave toward others. The two great commands given to us by Jesus are “to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and then to love our neighbor as ourselves.” The golden rule Jesus taught us: “Do to others as you would have them do to you”.  So yes, God cares about how we live horizontally, person to person.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. —John 13:34-35
