Discipline, chastisement, is one way God displays His love in our lives. Times of discipline, of chastisement, bring about important changes in our lives. God uses them to make us pure, to refine us, to grow us up into spiritual maturity, and they develop in us godly character and Christlikeness. Don’t reject them—embrace them.

Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.     —Hebrews 5:7-9

The Calvary Youth Group will be having a Baked Goods Auction (fundraiser for youth camp) - CAKES, ASSORTED COOKIES, BROWNIES - today right after second service in the Fellowship Hall.

The Local Vocals and The Silver Ringtones will be performing at the Starlight Theater this afternoon at 3:00pm. Several of our church members sing with these groups and they’d love for you to come.

We will be hosting and co-sponsoring a community Good Friday service. This year’s service starts at 6pm on Friday, April 18 at the WNMU Fine Arts Auditorium.  There will be children’s ministries available. 

We are in need of volunteer -  greeters and ushers.  If you can help, please let us know.

This summer we will host our 4th annual Marriage Conference! Early bird tickets go on sale April 1 for $110 per couple.
