It’s beautiful how the Lord prepares people to receive His Word which ultimately changed history and can change our history.  In our study, we will see how the Lord led his servants Paul, Silas, and Timothy, to an unexpected place because of His purpose and plan to establish a church there.

‘Men’s Doctrine and Donuts’ is taking a break from John Dye’s “The Unseen Realm” teaching.  For the next several weeks, Alan Resnicke will guide us through “Biblical Teachings on The Rapture.”  Join us Wednesday mornings from 6:30 to 7:30 for this teaching, discussion, and fellowship.  Coffee and donuts provided.

This Thursday night the children and youth will have a game night in the gym from 6:30 to 8.  Pizza and drinks will be provided.

We all have times in our lives when we feel like we are hanging on by a thread.  In difficult or trying times, it is essential for us to press in and exercise our faith.  Active faith is the key to seeing God work in wonderful and powerful ways in and through our lives.  When we feel like we are hanging on by a thread, we need to make sure that it’s “the hem of His garment” that we are clinging to.  This year’s retreat will encourage us all, as Christian women,  to rest all of our cares with Christ. It is only through intimate fellowship with our Lord that we can truly experience a life of peace and joy. Jesus is our Rock, our Fortress, our Comforter,  and our Deliverer. His love is without end, and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Calvary Taos Women’s Ministry

The Southwest Men’s Conference is on Friday, September 26, and Saturday September 27. This year’s theme is: Encountering God. We will look at men in the Word who met with God and how God used them to change history. Join us for a time of solid teachings, fellowship, worship, Bro-lympics and great food.

The Self-Confrontation Bible Study Discipleship Course will be offered free of charge starting on October 12th. This discipleship Bible Study is a great opportunity to deepen your walk with the Lord. 

Class will be held right after 2nd service in Room 3 in the Fellowship Hall on Sundays in starting the 2nd Sunday in October.
