Our end goal, remember, in studying the scriptures, is to know God. And so Bible study is a means to a greater end. As we learn the Word, we see God more clearly; hopefully that leads to loving Him more intimately, to serving Him more passionately, and obeying him more wholeheartedly and fervently.

The Biblical Counseling Foundation (BCF) will present the Self Confrontation Seminar at here at the church on Sept 27-29. It will include both Part A & Part B. Part B attendees must have taken part A.  This course is an in-depth study of how the Bible is sufficient and applicable for every day problems.  The cost $100 for Part A (includes books) or $75 for Part B. Our Monday Women’s Study is resuming on September 9 at 6:30pm.  We are changing the study to Revelation Unveiled, a Calvary Women's Bible study through the book of Revelation taught by Michelle Randall of Calvary Chapel Oceanside. Books for the class need to be ordered ahead and are $25.  Please sign up in the foyer.

Kairos Prison Ministry will be taking the Word to the residents at Southern NM Correctional Facility October 24-27.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Bob Phipps (575-574-2332) or Leroy Becerra (575-313-1167).
