We find this biblical spiritual principle from cover to cover: The more trust, the more rest. Here is the reality: there is not a fretful soul in the world who is trusting, and there is not a restful soul who is fretting. If you are worrying and fretting, then you obviously are not trusting God’s faithfulness.

The youth will be selling burritos for $5 after both services Sunday.

This Thursday we will be sharing a message by Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel entitled “Church, Unite for the Soul of America!”  “Christians need to be engaged in the 2024 presidential election. The freedoms we enjoy and the country that we love are in jeopardy. But Christians must unite if we are to make a difference. If our voices are not heard, and our votes are not counted, then every evil, demonic philosophy will fill the vacuum. But what if you don’t particularly like either candidate? What if you feel apathetic about this year’s election? Pastor Gary makes the argument that voting is not just a right, but a duty, and he helps us to understand how Christians can be involved in the political process.”

Revolution Youth presents a Free Halloween Alternative—Movie Night (Night at the Museum) on Thursday, October 31, in the Calvary Gym at 5:30.  Free popcorn & drinks.

Come out for a day of fun and fellowship at Gomez Peak Pavilion on Saturday, November 9, from 1-4pm.  We will have a bounce house, games for kids with prizes, face painting, horseshoes, cornhole and volleyball, as well as cooking out hot dogs and burgers.  Bring a dish to share and a comfy chair!

Ladies, mark your calendar for the women's Christmas dinner event  Prepare Him Room on Saturday evening, December 7. More details to come. We are also looking for six to eight ladies who would like to participate by adopting a table for this event. If that might be you please see Kim Dyndiuk for further details.
