Many people casually drift into a low standard of Christian life simply because they minimize the importance of Christian instruction and disciplined Bible study.  However busy a Christian may be, every Christian needs to make time for serious study and meditation of the Bible. It is the only way to continually grow in the faith and not become stunted.

Come out for a day of fun and fellowship at Gomez Peak Pavilion on Saturday, November 9, from 1-4pm.  We will have a bounce house, games for kids with prizes, face painting, horseshoes, cornhole and volleyball, as well as cooking out hot dogs and burgers.  Bring a dish to share and a comfy chair!

We are desperately in need of volunteer teachers in our children’s ministry.  If you are able to get involved, contact Kailee Madrid at the church.

Southwest Bible Camp’s fall Youth Retreat will be held in Glenwood Friday, Nov. 22 (4pm) through Sunday, Nov. 24 (10:00am). This is an exciting weekend designed to engage and challenge young people aged fourteen to mid-twenties. It is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship with like-minded young people.  Register online at www.southwestbiblecamp.org by November 18. The cost is $27 per person.

Ladies, mark your calendar for the women's Christmas dinner event  Prepare Him Room on Saturday evening, December 7. More details to come. We are also looking for six to eight ladies who would like to participate by adopting a table for this event. If that might be you please see Kim Dyndiuk for further details.
