The Bible is very clear: if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. Often we think to ourselves, "Where is God? He seems so distant; He seems so far away." If you feel far away from God, guess who moved? God is always there; the issue is not with God, it’s with us. The question is: how close do we want to be to Him, and are we willing to take the time and to make the effort to draw near to him?

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. - Acts 17:26-27

We will be having a burrito fundraiser this Sunday (August 30) and another Sunday, September 13. All proceeds will go towards our pastors’ wives attending a leadership conference in California.
