Jesus very clearly teaches us that no one knows the day or hour of His return; thus, He exhorts us to always be living aware, alert, and watchful, so we are not caught off guard when He returns for His bride to bring her home for the wedding and its subsequent feast in Heaven.

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
