Why Was a Savior of the World Necessary?Luke 15:1-10 Where would we be without Jesus coming into the world to save us from our sins? The answer is simple. We would be in a bad way: still lost, still in darkness, still without hope, still headed off a cliff into eternal damnation. So yes, it was necessary for Jesus to come and rescue us from sin’s power, sin’s slavery, and sin’s wages, which is the second and worst death. His sinless life and perfect sacrifice made salvation possible and available to whosoever would put their faith in Hm. Receive that gift from above this Christmas. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21 For more infomation visit:
