Jesus over and over taught His disciples to live lives ready, to live lives of expectancy. He, over and over, said that He would return at an hour we least expected Him. One of the things that has kept me motivated for these almost 43 years of daily walking with Jesus is the awareness, the consciousness, that today could be the day that Jesus returns for us, His bride, or that today could be my last day. So make it count for eternity.

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. - 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley is hosting a leadership conference February 23-24, 2024. This year the title is “STAND FAST”, around 2 Thessalonians 2:15. “Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.” There are registration forms and flyers in the foyer, or you can register at ccrgv.com. The cost to attend is $40, (day of the conference is $50) which includes lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday. Friday Registration is at  8:00am, Conference begins at 9am. Saturday begins with a continental breakfast @ 7:00am and the conference begins at 8:30am.

Calvary Tucson will have their Biblical Leadership conference March 4-6 with a number of speakers to include Gary Hamrick and Sean McDowell.   Find out more about that at www.calvarytucson.com

We will have a special presentation during both Sunday Services on March 3 by Scott Gillis of Creation Ministries International. Scott will demonstrate how the Gospel message is rooted in the book of Genesis and provides evidence to support the reliability of the Bible's record of origins. 

Creation resources will be available before and after the services.
